About Us

Pawsitive Instinct is based in Brisbane, Queensland Australia.

I have always had a love of animals and been blessed with living and working with a variety of animals from parrots, cats, dogs, small animals, livestock and horses. 

I have a particular passion for natural animal nutrition and enrichment.

 I studied Animal Care (received academic awards of Excellence both years - 1999 & 2000) & Agricultural Science in High School as well as being on the High Schools Sheep Showing team for three years. I have done volunteer work for RSPCA &

Riding for the Disabled.

My current qualifications are:

•  *Certificate II in Companion Animal Industry Studies through TAFE QLD (2000)

• *Certificate of Participation: Step Up Parrots & People Working Together. Parrot Society Australia conducted by Barbara Heidenreich & Pamela Clark on positive reinforcement training and  parrot behaviour problem solving. (2013)

• *Certificate in Animal Nutrition through Holistic Animal Therapy Organisation (2020)

• *Diploma in Canine Health & Nutrition through the British College of Canine Studies (with Distinction) (2021)

• *Certificate in Holistic Health for Dogs through the British College of Canine Studies (2022) (with distinction)

 *Diploma in Feline Studies through Compass Education and Training (2022) (with distinction)
